22 (SUNA) The second batch of humanitarian assistances has been sent to the state of South Sudan through passage of al-Obied- Aweel, with 30 trucks carrying 800 metric tons of assistances.

Aweel David, a South Sudanese university student at the Lebanese American University, said that it's the job of each person involved in the event to help break down stereotypes of African heritage.

The winners were Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed Aweel, Sara Mohammed Salman, Shereen Ali Abdul Aziz Ali, Mariam Isa Ahmed Al Sayegh, Ameena Khalifa Bukhammas and Zahra Ali Abdulla Ali.

During the event, Ibrahim Bin Aweel, marketing and PR manager for GCCI of PepsiCo, highlighted the company's pride in launching the campaign: "'Build a Pitch in your City' aims at developing the sport of football in the Kingdom and encouraging the new generations to the sport.
