Thucydides quotes the Delian "Hymn to Apollo", and it is possible that the Homeric corpus of his day also contained other of the more important hymns.
The "Hymn to Apollo" consists of two parts, which beyond any doubt were originally distinct, a Delian hymn and a Pythian hymn.
The Delian hymn describes how Leto, in travail with Apollo, sought out a place in which to bear her son, and how Apollo, born in Delos, at once claimed for himself the lyre, the bow, and prophecy.
The Delian part is exclusively Ionian and insular both in style and sympathy; Delos and no other is Apollo's chosen seat: but the second part is as definitely continental; Delos is ignored and Delphi alone is the important centre of Apollo's worship.
New investors Delian Capital, Hanne Capital, and Kite, a Gilead Company, also supported this round.

In his writings, the historian of Ancient Greece has explained the cause of the Peloponnesian War as: "It was the rise of Sparta and the fear that this inspired in Athens, the strongest city state prior to the war, that made conflict inevitable." This was an ancient Greek War fought from 431 to 404 BC between the Delian League led by Athens and the Peloponnesian War led by Sparta.

In the spirit of the political season, I want to claim credit for the most STUPENDOUS, INSIGHTFUL and POWERFUL political strategy since Pericles bound the DELIAN LEAGUE into an empire to resist THE PERSIANS.
Set in 431 BCE, you are thrown into the (fictional) Peloponnesian War and choose between controlling a mercenary for either the Delian League led by Athens or the Peloponnesian League, led by Sparta.
Choose between controlling a Delian League mercenary, or fight with the Spartans and this time you can choose to play through the whole game as a female character.
