minirugby when he was six and played all the way through Hinckley's age groups up to colts before moving on to Worcester, where he spent two years in their academy - playing one game on loan for Nuneaton - and then one year with the senior squad.
He said: "They have been 100 per cent behind me throughout my career - from the freezing Saturday mornings when they drove me from North Berwick to Edinburgh and braved the elements to cheer me from the touchline in every
minirugby game.
The move would give the club improved facilities to house their
minirugby and junior set-up, which Robinson sees as vital for the continued prosperity of Mowden Park.
If he wasn't involved in the running of Llantwit Fardre
minirugby, it was the local youth football team, judo club, Beddau Scout Group, Tonteg Community Hall committee or the village children's Saturday cinema club.
Two years of hedonism and guiltdrenched purgatory follows, until at last he finally realises that the diplomatic use of babysitters will allow him to make spice racks in his patterned jumper and comfortable slippers while nursing a hangover, or shout from the touchline during
minirugby while counting down the hours to a night on the tiles.
