antichoice women activists, this book traces the history of the
antichoice movement and the role that women at the grassroots play in this movement, including driving extensive direct action, and sometimes violent campaigns, to end abortion rights.

These gestures, along with the ascension of
antichoice Senate minority leader Harry Reid, have prochoice groups rightly concerned about the party's will and ability to defend reproductive rights.
