The delegation was briefed about situation along the
Line of Control (LOC), Cease Fire Violations (CFVs) by Indian Army and resultant loss of innocent civilian lives and damage to infrastructure, said a statement issued here by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Line of Control as well as on the International Border and this has not happened.
He was given detailed briefing on operational preparedness of the formations and the situation along
Line of Control.
Antony told the Parliament on August 8 that the specialist troops of Pakistan Army and a group from the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir side, which crossed the
Line of Control, had killed the five Indian soldiers on Tuesday.
Referring to self defeated Indian claims of so called surgical strike across
Line of Control, Commander reiterated resolve of the Corps to respond aggressively and effectively to any Indian miscalculation or misadventure along
Line of Control.

It must be mentioned that at least five Pakistani civilians, including two women, were injured in unprovoked ceasefire violations by Indian troops along the

Sharif, who summoned an emergency meeting on Thursday to discuss the fast growing tension with India over the exchange of fire along the
Line of Control (LoC), expressed his concern over the incidents which resulted in flaring up of tensions between India and Pakistan.
The Prime Minister, who along with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the
Line of Control (LOC) in Chirikot sector, lauded the contributions and sacrifices of Pakistan Army in defending the motherland and for protecting the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Asif Ghafoor, in a statement, said that Pakistan Army did not commit any ceasefire violation on
Line of Control in Bhuttal sector (India's Krishna Ghatti) as alleged by India.
State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said: "We are aware of these unconfirmed reports and are concerned about any violence along the
line of control. The policy on Kashmir has not changed."
The Pakistan DGMO protested over recent deliberate targeting of innocent civilians along
Line of Control resulting in civilian casualties.
