(brăd′strēt′), Anne Dudley 1612-1672. English-born American poet who wrote several collections of verse, including The Tenth Muse Lately Sprung Up in America (1650). Her husband, Simon (1603-1697), was a colonial administrator and governor of Massachusetts (1679-1686 and 1689-1692).
