Vehicle
Each district of Canyonlands should be visited individually no bridges or streets connect the districts inside the park.

Don't depend on Gps navigation models to help you in to the park.

Plane
Commercial air carriers serve Grand Junction, Colorado, and Salt Lake City, Utah. By vehicle, these metropolitan areas are in least 2 and 4 hrs (correspondingly) from the nearest park entrance (Island on the horizon). There's presently no commercial air service open to Moab.

Bus
Greyhound travels along Interstate 70, making stops at Grand Junction, Colorado, and Eco-friendly River, Utah. Commercial vans/shuttles operate between Moab and Salt Lake City in addition to Grand Junction.

Train
Amtrak stops at Grand Junction, Colorado, and Eco-friendly River, Utah. Commercial van services operate between Grand Junction and Moab.

Public Transit
There's no public transit to Canyonlands.

Making Your Way Around

Visit Canyonlands generally needs a vehicle. Once around the block, each district offers different possibilities for exploration. The Area on the horizon is easily the most accessible district and also the simplest to go to inside a short time. Other locations might need some boating, hiking or four-wheel driving to determine the area's points of interest.
