The viscosity measurement of comb copolymer was determined by Ubbelohde
viscosimetry at 25AdegC and 1,4-dioxane used as solvent.
The viscosity of the material, captured by rotational
viscosimetry, decreases with increasing temperature, Fig.
Different chemical and physical analytical techniques can be used to monitor the transesterification of triglycerides, notably near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR) [6, 7], Raman spectroscopy [8], gas chromatography [9], high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) [10], and
viscosimetry [11].
The synthesized intermediates and products were inspected by IR-spectroscopy, hydroxyl number, and rotational
viscosimetry. The substitution of polar hydroxyl groups with less polar acrylate groups led to a decreased viscosity, that can be explained by the reduction of intermolecular forces.

Viscosimetry applied to the Bingham substance ice slurry.
Chitosan (Cs) flakes from prawn shells (Pandalus borealis), with a degree of deacetylation (DD) of 88,4%, (nitrogen 7,30% determined by ICP, [12]) and molecular weight of 1,14 x [10.sub.5] (estimated by
viscosimetry, [13]), were purchased from Marinard Biotech (Quebec, Canada).
The resins prepared previously were characterized by IR spectroscopy, NMR[sup.1]H, NMR [sup.13]C and
viscosimetry. It will be noted that spectroscopic measurements of IR were done on a spectrometer models Perkin apparatus, NMR on a "Brucker 300MHz" and
viscosimetry on a capillary viscometer standard Ubelohde with one tenth poise flow at set temperature of 25 [+ or -] 0.1 [degrees]C.
The rheological properties of the composite gels were studied by using the rotation
viscosimetry (Brookfield DV-II+PRO (USA)).
For the calibration of the apparent viscosity in the reactor, a standard
viscosimetry test was run in a TA Instruments AR1000 N rheometer with a cone and plate geometry.
Its viscosity average molar mass was 3.83 X [10.sup.4] g/mol; which was determined by
viscosimetry in 0.2 M NaCl at 25[degrees]C.
