Six areas will be the focus of the 'Big Town Plan' including the dilapidated Riverside Shopping Centre, which could be demolished and replaced as part of the vision to revitalise the town centre.

The Draft Mold Town Plan will eventually be submitted to Flintshire Council to help inform their emerging Local Development Plan (LDP).

The Penarth Town Plan has been developed by Bristol-based consultants White Design and follows public consultation last year.

According to the directions of article 45 (Law no.350, 2001), town planning documentation includes: a) General town plan and the local regulation related to it; b) Area town plan and the local regulation related to it; c) Detailed town plan.
