Queen Char·lotte Islands
(shär′lət) An archipelago off the western coast of British Columbia, Canada, south of the Alexander Archipelago. It is separated from Vancouver Island to the southeast by Queen Charlotte Sound, an inlet of the Pacific Ocean.
